E & J Gallo Winery is the world’s largest family-owned wine and spirits company. Since it’s founding in 1933, the company has grown to be one of the global leading producers of wine, spirits and distribution in over 100 countries.

This rebrand aims to better represent their increasingly diverse portfolio and drive greater consistency across the enterprise.

The largest private winery in the world needed a rebrand to lead them into the next fifty years.

The new logo is a modern, yet timeless reflection of the family name and Italian heritage. It is inspired by classic Italian letter forms and monuments.

The color palette is inspired by natural tones found in architectural detail of the Gallo facilities and California’s natural landscapes

The identity system was designed to be flexible to better capture the diversity of Gallo’s products and culture.

Merchandise was an opportunity to express the Gallo spirit and help bring the team together.
